This trip we stayed at the Avanti Palms Resort & Conference Center on International Drive! Really good location, rates & service!
Time on the cruise ship was spectacular and amazing! It was fun and relaxing at the same time. The picture above is one of the Bahama Islands. This cruise changed a whole part of a piece of my life! I’m already planning my next trip! I knew I loved the Ocean, but each time I’m near the Ocean, I fall IN LOVE with it all over again. There’s just something about being next to, on or surrounded by that big huge massive, amazing bodies of water. inspires me and ignites my soul on a whole other level. Cruise around the world? Well, yes, I think I will, thank you very much!
The Bahamas Islands are amazing! I mean for folk to get on a few islands out in the middle of the ocean, economize it and make it habitual is truly amazing! But they have their fair share of challenges living by that huge massive beauty! The waters on the islands are just, OMG, beyond beautiful.
The folk on the islands are so friendly and accommodating, full of historical knowledge and information. To learn how they live and survive was indeed fascinating. In my mind I envision nothing but absolute paradise. If you want a different story, you will have to take a visit for yourself!
This trip definitely inspired me to want to get out to see more of the world!

This is ALWAYS! Always! ALWAYS! The highlight of any trip for me. Getting up in the morning watching the sunrise – but watching the sunrise over the Ocean is awe-inspiring! There is nothing else more wondrous and more spectacular than watching the sun rise and set over the Ocean. While I do indeed find it to be quite amazing to watch it set as well, it pales in comparison to watching it rise in the morning, just about anywhere, but over the bodies of water is just… OMG, I’m totally in my element. I already love the mornings anyway, it is my absolute favorite time of day. Being in any place to watch the sunrise is Bonus! Being by the Bodies of Water Mega-Magnificent Bonus! How could you not be inspired to have a fantastic day after that! I honestly, feel like when I’m in those moments they are set up and designed just for me! I LOVE IT!

So while spending time in Nassau, we decided to take a tour to see the island and how the natives lived. Also, this trip was not long after the hurricane hit part of the islands, but it was said that was closer to Freeport. A lot of people lost their entire homes due to that hurricane. This was SPECTACULAR! Love! Love! LOVED this Production! It is now my most favorite play/production ever, and to see it in my favorite city was Phenomenal! Shopping, Food, Fun & Hamilton!
Getting misty on The Maid of the Mist in Niagara, New York! Decided to take a little one-tank trip just to get away for a breather, so we rode up to the Beautiful Falls in Niagara! This is such a fun & quick trip! Although there’s a whole lot of fun on the Canadian side- the American side can be just as fun, just takes a little bit more imagination. But for some of us just to walk along, stand by or sit by the Falls is enough of a magic moment, plus it’s not that far away, at least not from Cleveland, Ohio! Although summer trips are fun and a bit more active, my favorite time to visit is the Fall, because the colors are beyond breathtaking. But anytime you visit this amazing wonder of the world is a great time – breathtaking in any season!
Talk about FUN! I love Universal – it’s so much fun and not just for the kids! Once you’re done hanging out in the parks – City Walk will not disappoint! Harry Potter’s World is a must, even if you’re not a fan of the movies – we went through Harry Potter World and I needed to go home to see each of the movies! Didn’t think I would be a fan of the butter beer, but it’s really good!
Memphis, Nashville, Chattanooga, Murfreesboro, and Manchester – Tennessee – so much stuff to do and so many places to see – we always have such a good time in Tennessee. Climbing mountains in Chattanooga; history & civil museums in Memphis, the music all over, Blues in Memphis even a little bit of country and rock n’ roll in Nashville! But the FOOD, OMG the FOOD, there’s no BBQ like down south BBQ! But we found the MOST AMAZING, I’m not even kidding – the most AMAZING chicken at Hattie’s B’s in Nashville – Oh My YUM!
But if you make it to Chattanooga – Rock City is a MUST! Climbing that mountain was amazing! No worries if you’re afraid of heights because you don’t even realize you’re climbing a mountain until you reach the end of the trail at the top of the Mountain!
To be by the ocean is such an extraordinary feeling – just a massive beauty beyond anything I can describe. I’m sure you can guess the highlight of the trip for me was watching the sun rise and set over the ocean. It is a tranquil beauty like none other! I swear I’ve watched the sun rise and set a thousand times and each one is miraculously different! I more than LOVE It!
We stood there mesmerized watching the storm clouds come in over the ocean and almost got soaked!
Such a cute little quaint town! Being a Steelers or a Pirates fan is a MUST in order to appreciate this “fan”-tastic Town! We stayed downtown, Pittsburgh in a cute boutique hotel!
I’m sure you’ve heard me say it – this is one of my ABSOLUTELY MOST FAVORITE places to visit! My favorite things to eat while in Chicago, EVERYTHING! The Stuffed Pizza, Donuts the size of my head! A few of my ABSOLUTE FAVORITES – Mindy’s Hot Chocolate; Berco’s Popcorn; Rock Bottom and Andy’s Jazz/Blues Bar – so much Fun! Whether we are staying downtown, walking the city or staying in the suburbs and taking the L into town – it’s always a Good Time! The History & self-made Nostalgia – shopping – I LOVE CHICAGO! Plus, whether it’s your first, third or 100th time, you have to do one of the Food Planet Food Tours – so much fun, history, and GOOD FOOD!
What can I say, New York definitely inspires me to live my BEST creatively inspired famous Life! Big City – Big Fun! I absolutely LOVE and ADORE New York! For me it’s all about the shopping, the food and fun walking around shopping and eating! We love the street eats and the mom & pop pizza shops! But OMG, Sylvia’s in Harlem OMG, deliciously FANTASTIC! Sylvia’s is a MUST, southern fried chicken, collard greens, macaroni & cheese, poundcake cornbread, and a glass of sweet tea or good old-fashioned fresh squeezed lemonade, and if you happen to get in on a Sunday for the Jazz Gospel Brunch, that’s an extra special treat! I’m sure there’s lots more stuff on the museum!
Each time we visit we find new stuff to see and do, definitely another one of my faves – I LOVE NEW YORK!
